So much so that her music has become a key indicator of good students. A new study by College Rover, a platform where students, parents, and researchers assess schools in the U.S., has concluded that most high achievers are, in fact, Swifties.
The research highlighted students’ favorite genres and artists, as well as the commonalities between each other’s study habits. As it turns out, the students with high Grade Point Averages (GPA) were the ones who had Swift as their most-listened artist. The ranking is as follows:

Other artists students love listening to include the likes of Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, and Lil Uzi Vert (we’re as shocked as you are). Among the other findings from the study is the fact that pop, lo-fi, and hip-hop music remain students’ go-to genres while they’re studying. But for the ones with higher averages, it was classical and instrumental music that were their most-played genres. Metal and hip-hop were, unfortunately, the two genres they listened to the least.
