According to People , singer Britney Spears and basketball star Victor Wembanyama both spoke on their personal pages about the incident where the singer was slapped in the face by Wembanyama’s bodyguard.

She expressed this was a traumatic experience and has yet to receive an apology from the basketball player or his bodyguard.
“I spotted Victor in the lobby of the hotel while going out to dinner, and wanted to congratulate him on his recent signing with the Spurs for the 2023 NBA Draft.
