AJ McLean holds Taylor Swift in high regard as someone who will always have a significant presence in his life. The singer-songwriter made a lasting impression on his 11-year-old daughter Elliott, as well as his younger daughter Lyric, during their first meeting.

On the latest episode of the Curtis Stone podcast, he mentioned that his daughter has met his partner three times. He was really impressed because she remembered his daughter’s name the last time they met. As a father, this small gesture meant a lot to him and made him admire her even more.

“I remember it clearly, we were behind the scenes. She walked in and said, ‘Ava,’ before she changed her name. I was totally surprised, my mind was blown.”

Meeting Taylor was a dream come true for the former member of the Backstreet Boys. He knows firsthand the challenges of living in the public eye and was thrilled to connect with someone who shares his experience.

“In my opinion, she is truly one of the most down-to-earth and modest performers I’ve ever seen,” he expressed. “You would think there must be some hidden darkness within her, but there really isn’t.”
