On Tuesday, the spectators at Parc des Princes were treated to a heartwarming sight – the iconic duo of Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi from Paris Saint-Germain sharing an embrace.
On the occasion of Tuesday’s Champions League match between PSG and RB Leipzig, the team organized a special event called ‘Ronaldinho night’ to celebrate the legendary Brazilian player. As the game was about to begin, Ronaldinho had a chance encounter with Messi, which led to a heartwarming embrace between the two greats of football.
During his time at PSG from 2001 to 2003, Ronaldinho was a contracted player before moving on to Barcelona. It was during his tenure with the Catalan team that he witnessed Messi’s rise to fame firsthand. Interestingly enough, it was Ronaldinho who set up Messi’s inaugural goal in La Liga back in 2005 against Albacete.
