NEYMAR was accused of “throwing in the towel” by joining Al-Hilal instead of “leading the world” by remaining in Europe.
Former Barcelona striker Jonathan Soriano, who played for the Saudi club in 019, laments the legend’s decision to leave PSG for a big payday.

According to Soriano, the Brazilian legend had quite the big leagues when he was at his height.
Soriano feels the 31-year-old Brazilian striker is still talented enough to compete with Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland for top spot in the Champions League.
Instead, the ex-Barcelona star will join Al-Hillal for £314 million over two years, which is roughly SIX TIMES his PSG salary.
Former Spain under-1 star Soriano told DAZN: “Neymar has enough quality to lead a team looking to win the Champions League.
“I believe that he has thrown in the towel.
“There is no Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, so he could have led world football along with Mbappe and Haaland.
“Instead, he has decided to earn more money.”
Before deciding to join the Saudi Pro League, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Barcelona were all connected with 14-cap star Neymar.
He won the Champions League once and two LaLiga titles with Barcelona before going on to win five Ligue 1 titles with PSG.
