Emilia Clarke is one of the most demanded names in the entertainment industry. The Dragon Queen has become part of social media buzz due to her new Marvel series, Secret Invasion. The immensely talented actress has charmed us time and again with her unique roles and the originality she brings to all her characters. The actress had once worked with the legendary action star Arnold Schwarzenegger and was surprised by his attitude.

After doing the ultra-successful show Game of Thrones, the actress Emilia Clarke has received worldwide fame. The fame of the show also opened new doors of opportunities for the actress. It led to her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut and other roles.

Before the show, she was seen in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator Genisys, where she amazed her fans with her thrilling action sequences. Clarke shared that she enjoyed working with Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia’s fame Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Talking about her experience of working with Commando Star, Emilia Clarke said,

“It never gets old. He was so much fun. I expected this massive ego to turn up, but he is this charming, sweet, kind man. He got really excited to film the scenes.”

Terminator Genisys was made thirty years after the release of the first one. The film features Schwarzenegger and Clarke in lead roles.

Talking to People the True Lies star opened up on training for the role.

“It was like riding a bicycle. You don’t lose it. You don’t forget.”

The action star had to gain 10 lbs., hence he worked out six days a week. He added that he had a high intake of protein drinks. The actor jested,

“I always stay in pretty good shape, except with this one I stepped it up a notch … I did more cardiovascular training just to make sure I’m ready for the stunts.”

Escape Plan actor also appreciated the efforts of the Game of Thrones star for prepping up for the role. He said,

“It’s pretty tough to live up to this kind of part, but she did a fantastic job, especially with the handling of the weapons in the fight scenes.”

Talking about her preparation for the role, the actress revealed that she had to cut down on her sugar and increase her protein intake.  

“It was really fun to do different kinds of training than what I would do myself and feel strong. [when you finish], you’re like, ‘Please, can I have cake? Like, a chocolate cake, and a beer?’”

The look for the role was quite different from her Dragon Queen look in Game of Thrones. She joked,

“To be 15 minutes in the makeup chair was amazing.”

Terminator Genisys was released in 2015 and is available for streaming on Apple TV.
