Real Madrid fans love Jude Bellingham even more after seeing him show his loving side during the team’s Copa del Rey win over Arandina.
It was Joselu, Brahim Diaz, and Rodrygo who scored the goals that helped Carlo Ancelotti’s team beat the fourth-tier Spanish team. The England player didn’t play in the game.
But the 20-year-old made one lucky ball boy’s day while watching his teammates move on to the next round.
He was seen sitting on the bench with a Real Madrid blanket around him to keep him warm on the cool winter night.
But when Bellingham saw that the ball boy was cold and miserable, he took off his club-branded blanket and put it around the boy.
This nice act made the child’s day, and he told a Spanish reporter after the game that it was his “happiest day.”
It wasn’t the only time Bellingham interacted with the ball boys. Before the game, he happily stopped to take selfies and pictures with a group of excited ball boys who were clamoring to get close to the Madrid star.
After coming to the club from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, Bellingham has quickly become one of the most popular players. The excitement is more proof of that.
He has scored 17 goals for Real Madrid in just 22 games, which is the most in his career. Two of those goals came against Barcelona in the first El Clasico of the season last October.
Because of how well he has played, Real Madrid is now in first place in La Liga, tied with Girona on points and seven points ahead of Barcelona, the defending winner and competitor.
He got the Kopa Trophy as the best young player in Europe at the Ballon d’Or awards show in November and was named 2023’s Golden Boy.
